Making the future of email.

  • Privacy policy

We take your privacy seriously. As former Google engineers (Google+, Maps, Wave) we are well versed in industry-leading privacy practices.

Fluent never sees your Google password. Our system uses the Google OAuth service, which never reveals your password to us (it grants authorization tokens). You may revoke Fluent's access to your email box at any time using Google's account access dashboard.

In order for Fluent to provide fast search and retrieval, we index your email data and store it on Amazon Web Services servers. If you're interested, you can read all about the extensive security measures that Amazon provides for its platform.

We have strict internal policies preventing access to your data. In very rare cases if errors in software occur, fragments of email headers may be seen by one of our two engineers in server error logs. We never share any data of, or about, our users with anyone (with the exception of aggregate usage numbers).

All traffic between your browser, Fluent's servers and Google's servers is encrypted (SSL).

If you wish to close your account with us for good, please let us know and we will permanently delete any data associated with your account within 3 days.

If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us: security@fluent.io
